What kinds of assembly work can APT provide?

Our assembly capabilities range from simple to complex. We can perform simple tasks like assembling parts together with screws or via heat staking. We also offer the capability for full ultrasonic welding.

What is Ultrasonic Welding?

Ultrasonic welding is an assembly technique where high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld. With the proper joint design, the resulting welded joint can create a water-tight hermetic seal between two parts.

Are their limits to the types of assembly work APT can do?

We can perform almost any kind of mechanical assembly. We do not create electronics subassemblies like circuit boards, but we do assemble all types of finished PCBs and other electronic components into top-level mechanical assemblies.
